Halle Kate's Photo Shoot

Yesterday was such a fun day! My friend Amy Hough and her husband Jeff came over to take some pictures of Halle. Amy is an absolutely wonderful photographer, so called her a while back and asked if she would mind taking some pictures for me. She said yes but told me that she had never done a shoot with a baby before so she was really nervous. She did such an AMAZING job! We had the best time!!! My mom and I went out on Friday to find some cute stuff for Halle Kate to wear for her pics. We found the cutest little pink tutu. For those of you who know me, "girlie stuff" like tutu's kind of freak me out... I mean I really only played with ninja turtles as a kid, so the thought of Halle being super girlie is frightening! But I am having so much fun with it so far.

Halle was the perfect little model! I fed her a pretty good bit while Amy and Jeff were setting up so she would sleep, and she slept like a champ! She let us pose her and play with her for 3 hours!!! I was so impressed! However, at the end of the 3rd hour she starting waking up. When I say waking up I mean she became quite the little poop machine! She started pooping on all the blankets, my shirt, my hand... It was a mess. So we decided to call it quits...plus she was getting a little fussy. Amy sent me some shots that she had gone ahead and edited, so I thought I would share a few. I know I am bias, but I think they turned out awesome...

It is so crazy to think that Halle Kate wasn't supposed to be here for another week! She has been the greatest blessing! I am so thankful to have the ENTIRE summer to spend with her before I have to go back to school in the fall.
